My 36 textures from light to dark:
Then I chose these three using in my station.
Light
Medium
Dark
Then there are 5 lumion screen caps.
View from the station shows the details of the information board and automatic ticket machine.
View of the pedestrians bridge. Note that the roof of the bridge uses the texture LIGHT. The texture gives a feeling of extended, make the roof seems longer and thinner which contribute to the concept of sense of lightness.
View from the roof of the station, using the texture DARK on the edge of the roof. This texture makes the opaque panel and the transparent glass more like an entirety. Thus, the feeling of solid is not so strong, response to the concept of lightness.
View from the station. Shows the texture of the chair which is MEDIUM. The texture of the chair actually has a comparison to the texture of the floor, makes it like the chair is from the floor or the chair is a part of the floor. It responses to the concept of push and pull.
View near the road. Shows the rainbow stair of the pedestrians bridge.
A brief interpretation of my entire architecture: All of the glass materials I chose colored glass which make both commuters can look through the glass to check whether the light rail is coming in and shade the sunlight. Then I used wood as the main material of bridge floor. Combine with the rainbow stairs, they responded to Emric's concept in his architecture-- become a part of nature. In addition, undertaking the most of the weight of the bridge in two thin column and use the thin materials to form the main structure give a sense of lightness.
